Name: Juan R. Amado Amado Born: La Coruña, Spain For 8 years, owner, resident DJ and manager of ZYX, the most famous club in La Coruña during the late 80s and early 90s which dramatically transformed the musical life of Galicia. Important journalistic contributions to magazines such as Naval or Bravú and DJ'd in numerous clubs across Spain. Relocated to Brussels for a while where his funky beats were being loved all over town. Back to Galicia, he founded the first underground venue in the area, the Superfly club, renowned for the many bands, performances, and unique collaborations with DJs appearing there. Residing in Berlin since 1999 has made himself a name as a DJ specializing in black music (soul, funk, hip-hop, reggae, boogaloo, afro and latin funk) also loves progressive electronic sounds, electro, breaks and drum'n bass.
